The sale includes rare examples of 1940s designs by Gilbert Adrian and Irene Lentz, famous Hollywood costume designers, who also made a name for themselves in fashion, as well as a strong collection of items from Japanese designers such as Issey Miyake, Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, Kenzo Takada and Mitsuhiro Matsuda. The sale is also driven by fashion forward designs, including an exciting collection of contemporary menswear from Thom Browne, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen, Balmain and Tom Ford.
