The Breath Between Bites: Amanda Greive Solo Exhibition

Public Artist Reception: March 18 from 6 to 9 pm

This show examines at how we as individuals are changing, but also how our environments are changing as a result of our choices.  For instance, in Consumed 2, the woman is dissolving into an arrangement of flowers.  She is becoming something else entirely, as what is on the inside becomes visible.  In Home/Body 1, the same thing is occurring.  The woman is sitting in her living room, unapologetically transforming in front of the viewer.  But her surroundings, her home, are also dissolving away.
