Beginning in November 2020, the Renaissance Society will present projects by Joe Namy (performance) and Haig Aivazian (exhibition) as part of the Consortium Commissions, which brings together ten institutions to produce new works by eight emerging artists from the Arab world. This innovative model for co-commissioning was initiated by Mophradat in 2018.
Other partners include Alkantara Festival in Lisbon, Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, De Appel in Amsterdam, Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, Portikus in Frankfurt, The Showroom in London, and Spielart Festival in Munich.
