The Muses | Dan Simoneau

The Evanston Art Center (EAC) is excited to welcome the public to The Muses | Dan Simoneau. This exhibition is on display from August 16 - September 14, 2025, and will be free and open to the public. The Muses | Dan Simoneau features acrylic and watercolor portraits of Simoneau’s models–whom he considers his muses and with whom he has worked with for over 15 years: John, Anthony, Jacob, and Mykoal.

Dan Simoneau has been painting professionally for over 45 years and is considered a contemporary realist. His work has been exhibited in over 150 regional, national, and international exhibitions, and he has received over 70 awards for his work, including several Best in Show recognitions. Simoneau’s work has also been published in 20 national and international publications and lives in many private, corporate, and museum collections.

The Muses | Dan Simoneau will be exhibited in the Second Floor Atrium Gallery of the Art Center. The opening reception is free and open to the public. This exhibition is partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency, and the EAC’s general membership. Evanston Art Center, a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, is dedicated to fostering the appreciation and expression of the arts among diverse audiences. The Art Center offers extensive and innovative instruction in broad areas of artistic endeavor through classes, exhibitions, interactive arts activities, and community outreach initiatives.
