Vicinity: Artists' Talk

This July, Perspective Gallery is pleased to present recent work by 25 Chicago-area photographers.  This exhibit is the latest installment of the juried "Vicinity" exhibition that is presented each summer.

The selctions on display were chosen by jurors Barbara Ciurej and Lindsay Lochman from over 60 submissions.  The exhibit opens on Thursday, June 31 with a public reception on Saturday, July 2 from 5-7 p.m.  The show closes July 31.

Perspective Group and Photography Gallery is a not-for-profit, community-oriented cooperative of fine art photographers whose purpose is to promote fine art photography. In addition to monthly exhibitions and artist talks, the gallery features: Perspectives on Photography, a guest speaker lecture series; Lens, a national juried exhibition; an annual invitational show; Vicinity, a juried exhibition of photographers from the greater Chicago area; and, Student Perspectives, an annual, juried show for Chicago-area high school students.
