Virtual Tour of Collection Focus: Mara Superior

RAM is pleased to announce an upcoming virtual tour of the museum's current exhibition Collection Focus: Mara Superior, a retrospective on the work of contemporary porcelain artist Mara Superior.
This virtual visit of the museum galleries follows RAM Executive Director and Curator of Collections Bruce W. Pepich and RAM Curator of Exhibitions Lena Vigna through a candid, informative discussion about Mara Superior's work and inspiration. Professionally produced by Matt Binetti of Racine, Pepich and Vigna's 14-minute tour offers a deeper understanding of the artist’s creative journey, and illuminates the artist's nuanced approach to working with porcelain.
This virtual tour will premiere at 12:30 pm CST on Thursday, December 9 on the RAM Facebook page. A Facebook account is not required to watch the video, but viewers with an account will be able to ask questions during the premiere and receive responses from museum staff in real-time. The tour will launch simultaneously on RAM's YouTube channel, and may also be watched at ramart.org. The video will be available to watch on demand after the premiere has concluded.
