Violet Canopy (River) by Robin Denevan, left, and Untitled (Crow and Vase) by David Kroll, right

Join Joanna Pinsky for a guided exploration of art in River North's galleries. We’ll begin at Zolla Lieberman, where we'll see David Kroll's classically-painted images featuring unexpected still life objects in vast, imaginative landscapes. At Addington Gallery, we'll view abstractions of nature by Robin Denevan and look closely at the artist's use of encaustic wax and oil medium. We’ll conclude with a group show at Gallery Victor, featuring work by renowned Chicago artist Marcos Raya, who currently has a piece on display at the Tate Museum in London.
