Winterfest Art Market Opens in December 2019—A Unique Holiday Shopping Experience for Everyone 

Water Street Studios and Artisan Collective Batavia will be collaborating again for the Winterfest Art Market, a unique holiday shopping event December 13th, 14th, and 15th at Water Street Studios located at 160 S. Water Street in Batavia, IL. The public is invited to experience this unique holiday market at Water Street Studios, a nonprofit art center and historic venue in downtown Batavia, IL.

Danielle Hollis, Executive Director of Water Street Studios shares, “This event unites our community together during the holiday season by supporting artists and artisans. It’s a privilege to open our historic venue for our community to explore the curated gallery walls and artist studios, all while getting their holiday shopping wrapped up. This is an experiential event you don’t want to miss. I invite you to come experience it for yourself with us this holiday season.”  

Explore the Dempsey Family Gallery to view and purchase a juried collection of fine art at affordable prices so you can share the perfect gift for that creative someone. The Chicago Capital Gallery will feature the “Chicagoland 4x5 Art Exhibition” displaying nearly 200 pieces of artwork created by students of Chicagoland. Continue on throughout the historic 16,000 square foot venue to shop from over 20 artisan vendors and 25 resident artists featuring handmade jewelry, candles, soaps and more. The event will kick off Friday evening with an opening reception from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  

Enjoy food and coffee vendors and a cash bar featuring beer by Solemn Oath Brewery alongside wine and cocktail options. Opening Reception on Friday, December 13, 2019 6:00-9:00 p.m.
