Mongerson Gallery specializes in 19th & 20th century American art, particularly paintings and sculpture from the United States' Westward Expansion, including works by Frederic Remington, Charles Marion Russell, Thomas Moran, and W.R. Leigh.
The gallery also exhibits a range of notable Early Modern and Regionalist artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Marsden Hartley, Thomas Hart Benton, and John Steuart Curry, as well as contemporary works by Detroit artist Charles McGee.
In 2018, feature exhibitions will include works by Wisconsin Regionalists and the school of John Steuart Curry, along with retrospectives of Early Modern Chicago artists Emile Grumieaux and Julia Thecla at its newly designed exhibition space in Chicago's West Town neighborhood.
