We spoke with five insiders about what excites them now and what they anticipate next.

“Fall is busy at Chicago Artists Coalition, since we will have Resident Exhibition openings on Friday, September 4 and October 30. We’re also hosting our annual fundraiser at Ignite Glass Studio on Thursday, October 1, where we want everyone to have the opportunity to support artists as much as they support art.
The National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures hosts a regional convening here in Chicago November 12–14, and there will be activities across the city, open to the public, and CAC will be hosting at least one.
My favorite public event of the year, Grabadolandia, is the 3rd weekend in November at the National Museum of Mexican Art. In its 14th year, it’s full of family-friendly, hands-on printmaking, social activism and gorgeous art for purchase. You’ll also meet some amazing gente!”
