“We are so excited that two of our artists are included in the prestigious Biennale de Venezia opening this May in Italy. Lavar Munroe will co-represent The Bahamas and Ebony G. Patterson is included “In Minor Keys” posthumously curated by Koyo Kouoh in the Central Pavilion. We have not properly celebrated Ebony being named a MacArthur Genius since she was busy with her co-Artistic Director duties for Prospect.6 in New Orleans last year. Thrilled to finally have the occasion to fete her, Lavar, former moniquemeloche artist and SAIC alum Carrie Schneider also included “In Minor Keys”, as well as Sanford Biggers and Maia Cruz Palileo in an auxiliary exhibition sponsored by Denniston Hill in Venice.

Following our 25th anniversary extravaganza in 2025 we will host Cheryl Pope at the gallery during EXPO Chicago and can’t wait for our out-of-town supporters come to the fair, gallery, and our 15th annual private Pizza+Prosecco Party at our home!”
