Frederik Meijer Gardens &amp; Sculpture Park, one of the world’s most significant botanic and sculpture experiences, was recently named the Top Sculpture Park in the United States by USA Today’s “10Best” and listed as the 81st most visited museum in the world by The Art Newspaper, the leading global art news publication. The 158-acre main campus features Michigan’s largest tropical conservatory; one of the country’s largest interactive children’s gardens; arid and Victorian gardens with bronze sculptures by Edgar Degas and Auguste Rodin; a carnivorous plant house; outdoor gardens, including a replica 1930s-era farm garden; an eight-acre Japanese garden featuring contemporary sculpture; and a 1,900-seat outdoor amphitheater garden, showcasing an eclectic mix of world-renowned touring musicians each summer. South Shore Arts has been improving the quality of life along the South Shore for over 80 years. It all started in the hat department of the Minas Department Store in downtown Hammond, Indiana with an annual exhibit of regional artists, known today as the Annual Salon Show.&nbsp; Located in the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, in Munster, Indiana, South Shore Arts has one branch location at Substation No. 9, an inner-city art center in downtown Hammond. South Shore Arts

The Tarble Arts Center is the teaching museum on the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. With an artist-centered approach, the Tarble presents an annual program of rotating exhibitions that provide experiential encounters with art of international significance and local relevance. An onsite Education Lab, Design Lab, and Collection Lab are hubs for transdisciplinary activity, positioning art as a primary tool for research, advancing knowledge, and interpreting the world we live in. The outcomes of this experimentation produce projects, publications, and opportunities that reach EIU students, community members, regional partners, and international collaborators both in the museum and wherever they are. The Tarble’s ongoing stewardship of a permanent collection of contemporary art, American Regionalism, and folk art provides opportunities for study and reflection to students of all ages.
