The Art Preserve of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center is the world’s first museum&nbsp;to focus entirely on work from artist-built environments—spaces and places that&nbsp;have been significantly transformed by an artist. The Door County Contemporary Art Fair will be held at the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek, Wisconsin from June 5 to June 8, 2025. ﻿The three-day program will introduce art to art enthusiasts in an event yet unseen in Wisconsin. It was born from the desire to address a lack of contemporary art in an otherwise culturally enriched and dynamic destination. And to do it with an enthusiasm that embraces the energy, vision, and welcoming spirit of the region. DCC will host 14 art galleries from Wisconsin and beyond while welcoming thousands of art lovers from around the United States. It will also feature a wealth of site-specific art works and projects, plenty of Wisconsin-centric food and drink, and curated events and art-related projects. Door County Contemporary will be more than an art fair, it will be a three-day celebration of art and ideas. All of it set against the backdrop of one of the America’s greatest geographical settings–a brilliant contrast of perspectives that will make it a truly memorable and unique occasion. DCC hopes to leave visitors feeling they’ve married the best of fine art with the idiosyncratic swagger of the region, meant to resonate long after its visitors exit State Highway 42/57. The John Michael Kohler Arts Center (JMKAC) is a nationally acclaimed visual and performing arts complex located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It is known worldwide for preserving and exhibiting artist-built environments—where artists transform their surroundings into exceptional, multifaceted works of art, and visitors experience art in a deeply personal way that speaks to them and also reflects our common humanity. JMKAC’s mission is to generate a creative exchange between artists and the public. The Arts Center features rotating contemporary art exhibitions and hosts multidisciplinary artist residencies throughout the year. Onsite are eight gallery spaces, a performing arts theatre, and a family-friendly café serving fresh, seasonal fare. The museum gift shop features unique gifts and handmade artist creations. Classes and workshops are offered throughout the year for students of all ages. A hands-on art studio and award-winning, artist-designed washrooms round out the experience. The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA) is an independent organization that exhibits, collects, and preserves modern and contemporary art to provide transformative experiences that educate, reflect, and inspire us as individuals and a community. MMoCA fosters the exchange of ideas and creates experiences to inspire a wide audience. It is a nexus for the work of emerging and established regional, national, and international artists, serving as a catalyst for the continued development of a vigorous community of artists and provides a forum encouraging people to be challenged by, reflect on, and make connections between art and the world around them.&nbsp; Designed by world-renowned architect César Pelli, the Museum offers 51,500 sq. ft. of interior space, as well as the 7,100 sq. ft. Rooftop Sculpture Garden. Public amenities include spacious galleries that host rotating exhibitions, a 230-seat lecture hall, a children’s classroom, and a study center for drawings, prints, and photographs.&nbsp; MMoCA presents lectures, discussions, tours, and educational programming free of charge at the Museum. Additionally, MMoCA partners with regional artists for the bi-annual Gallery Night, provides a mobile art classroom to the region, and transforms downtown Madison for the annual Art Fair on the Square. The Milwaukee Art Museum collects and preserves art, presenting it to the community as a vital source of inspiration and education. 30,000 works of art. 400,000+ visitors a year. 125 years of collecting art. From its roots in Milwaukee’s first art gallery in 1888, the Museum has grown today to be an icon for Milwaukee and a resource for the entire state. The 341,000-square-foot Museum includes the War Memorial Center (1957) designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen, the Kahler Building (1975) by David Kahler, and the Quadracci Pavilion (2001) created by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Central to the Museum’s mission is its role as a premier educational resource, with educational programs that are among the largest in the nation, involving classes, tours, and a full calendar of events for all ages.

OS Projects is a contemporary art gallery in downtown Racine featuring visual artists in solo and small group exhibits. The gallery’s primary focus is on artists living and working in the Chicago-Kenosha-Racine-Milwaukee urban corridor. While the range of media the gallery presents is broad—encompassing painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography and installation—the exhibited artists are unified in their engagement with topical issues, experimentation with materials and processes, and adherence to craft. Artists who will be exhibiting their work at OS Projects in 2025 include&nbsp;Monika Wulfers, Allison Svoboda and Mark Brautigam, among others. OS Projects has 4 exhibits per year.&nbsp; Openings take place on the second Saturday of February, May, August&nbsp;and November. The Racine Art Museum (RAM) in downtown Racine, Wisconsin, houses North America’s largest contemporary craft collection within its award-winning architecture. RAM organizes rotating exhibitions primarily drawn from its holdings of over 11,000 pieces by nationally and internationally recognized artists—more than half the works represent art jewelry, ceramic, fiber, glass, metal, polymer, and wood. The museum plays a vital role in arts education through RAM’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts (Wustum), the original of the organization’s two campuses located just two miles from RAM. Wustum offers community outreach programs, studio art classes and workshops for students of all ages and abilities, and renowned local and regional art exhibitions like Watercolor Wisconsin and Racine and Vicinity Show. Founded in 1967, the Racine Arts Council encourages, supports and advocates on behalf of emerging and established artists, artistic groups in our community, and young people interested in the arts.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The RAC differentiates itself from other arts organizations in the community in that it does not produce art, but rather facilitates art experiences and collaboration among artists and community entities.&nbsp;

Kim Storage Gallery

Tandem Press is a professional print publisher and gallery affiliated with the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Tandem invites internationally renowned artists to create original fine art prints in its printmaking studio. Using an array of traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques, Tandem has established itself as a leader among international fine art print publishers. Visitors may tour the printmaking studio, view the current exhibition in the gallery, and browse prints in the print study center. Tandem Press has produced original fine art editions with over 100 artists spanning many artistic styles and subject matter. Current inventory includes work by Derrick Adams, Richard Bosman, Suzanne Caporael, Robert Cottingham, Lesley Dill, Jim Dine, Jeffrey Gibson, Sam Gilliam, Michelle Grabner, Al Held, Ikeda Manabu, Robert Kelly, David Lynch, Judy Pfaff, Alison Saar, Swoon, Mickalene Thomas, Dyani White Hawk, and others.
