For the third iteration of our In Depth with ... series, join Erin Washington in a multimedia exploration of her show at Western Exhibitions Bodies feel dangerous right now.

Washington discusses the state of our bodies during a pandemic, defaced statues, elliptical cosmologies and mythologies, her fascination with/repulsion to Kazimir Malevich’s Suprematist black square, automatic drawing, anatomy studies, her drawing series After Zeus documenting an injury to her drawing hand 7 years ago and more, using text, audio and a video walk-through, plus a playlist sharing what she listens to when working in her studio in Chicago.
