Italy, near future. The old congested and violent prisons are just a memory: now the prisoners serve their sentences in a state of deep sleep that makes them harmless. Hypersleep is an economic and efficient system because it has drastically reduced the rate of criminal relapse. But not everything works as it should: one day David Damiani (Stefano Accorsi), prison psychologist, is faced with an aggressive prisoner whose data has been lost. The unexpected incident will trigger a chain of events that will force David himself to confront the ghosts of his past, and a conspiracy that will also involve Viola, the love of his life, and that will lead him to discover that nothing is what it seems.
