Michael Guinane captures the emotion of a single moment in time through atmospheric paintings that invite viewers to feel the mood of a particular place and setting.
Working with multilayered techniques, he explores how we’re suspended between past and future, creating scenes that spark the imagination—from rain-slicked city streets glowing with neon reflections to quiet winter nights in the park, each work offers a glimpse into moments that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
Originally from Milwaukee and a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, Michael has spent over two decades building a distinguished career in Columbus.
Now, he’s returned to his roots, bringing his home and studio back to Milwaukee—and he’s bringing five new paintings to share at this special homecoming event!
Please join us in welcoming Michael back to Milwaukee!
Come celebrate this homecoming, view Michael’s evocative work, including five new pieces, and hear about his artistic journey.
We look forward to seeing you there!
