The SPARK Grant is an award opportunity for visual artists who identify as ALAANA (African, Latinx, Asian, Arab, Native American), an artist with acute financial need, an artist with a disability, or as a self-taught/non-formally trained artist.
The SPARK Grant offers 20 unrestricted awards of $2000 each to Chicago-based contemporary artists. This program is generously funded by the Joyce Foundation.
