Trio di Torino was founded in 1987 and today consists of Sergio Lamberto, violin teacher at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" of Turin, Giacomo Fuga, piano teacher at the same Conservatory and Jacopo di Tonno, cello teacher at the Conservatory "Nicolini" of Piacenza.  Over the years, Trio di Torino has been the winner of several awards such as the first prize at the International Competition "Viotti" of Vercelli in 1990; in 1993 they won the second place at the International Competition of Osaka. In addition to participating in the most important music festivals both in Italy and abroad, the Trio collaborates with the record label Real Sound of Udine, producing recordings of Brahms, Dvoràk, Smetana, Chopin and Shostakovich, which have had a remarkable sales success and flattering feedback from Italian and international critics.
