Artist Talk: Jeff Stevenson

We are exciged to welcome artist Jeff Stevenson in our Wicker Park art gallery to discuss his work, now on display in our "Momentum" exhibit. We ask all guests to wear a face covering while in the gallery, and practice social distancing. Guests will be limited to abide by current COVID-19 protocols. Hors d'oeuvre and wine will be served.
Jeff Stevenson is a painter and mixed media collage artist with a strong foundation in representational painting. The work from his FIT and Right Between the Eyes series are now on display in our "Momentum" exhibit.
With over 30 years of professional experience in the visual arts as a practicing studio artist, arts writer, college professor, curator and director, Stevenson is currently the Director and Curator of the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park and the Visual Arts Gallery at Governors State University. He has served on boards and committees with the Chicago Artists’ Coalition, Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park, and the Flossmoor Village Public Art Commission, in his hometown, Flossmoor, Illinois.
